How do I Use BandStar?
That depends!
I'm An Audience Member
As an audience member, you simply download BandStar and run it. It will automatically tell you the name of the band at your location. If there's no band playing,then it will let you search for a nearby band.
I'm a Performer
As a performer, you use this site to setup your band, the venues in which you play, and the shows you will be performing at those venues.
I'm a Venue
As a venue, BandStar lets you advertise specials for tonight and attract both audiences and popular bands to your locale.
I Provide Software For Performers
BandStar provides opportunities for third-party integration. Out of the box, BandStar integrates with OnSong. If you have software that you think will integrate well, let us know!

About this policy
This policy illustrates the privacy practices in place for the BandStar™ App.
Information we collect
The first time the BandStar App is downloaded, we record the latitude and longitude of the devices location. Each subsequent time the BandStar App is launched, the devices position is plotted on a map.
The search criteria used in the BandStar App is recorded. The criteria includes but is not limited to: City, Band, Genres and Date.
We use the information collected in the following ways:
Locate the nearest venues / shows to the devices location.
Third Party integration
The BandStar App uses a connection to OnSong to track what musical set the Band is on and what song is being played.
The BandStar App uses LyricWiki, a FANDOM Music Community, to provide the lyrics to the songs being performed by the performing band/artist.
Apple Pay integration
Tips sent to the performer leverage the Apple Pay platform. Specific Apple Pay privacy policy information can be found on the Apple Pay support page:
